Our coaching staff includes experienced professionals from diverse athletic backgrounds who are passionate about supporting athletes on and off the field.

Brady Harrington
Brady has been on the Center for Basketball Development coaching staff at Montverde Academy since 2025. Prior to his appointment at MVA, Harrington had six years of coaching experience at the collegiate level, including one season at The College of Saint Rose and two seasons as a lead assistant at Elmira College. A native of Whitney Point, New York, Harrington began his athletic career as a two-sport student-athlete at SUNY Broome, competing in both men’s basketball and baseball from 2016–2018. He continued his education at SUNY Cortland, where he earned his undergraduate degree in Physical Education, before completing a master’s degree in Educational Psychology from The College of Saint Rose in 2022.

Ciara Barone
Ciara is a mental health therapist at D&G Counseling, wellness coach and former Division I ice hockey player at Providence College. She specializes in working with teens, athletes, and college students, with a focus on confidence, anxiety, performance mindset, emotional regulation, identity, and navigating the pressures that come with being an athlete. Ciara is a presenter for D&G Wellness Consulting where she shares her personal experiences as a college athlete, in addition to teaching skills to support high school athletes mental health and wellness. As a former athlete she understands firsthand the mental demands of competition and the challenges that can come with tying your identity, confidence, and sense of purpose to performance. Her experience as both an athlete, ice hockey coach and wellness coach allows her to create an environment where athletes feel understood, challenged, and supported. Ciara helps athletes become mentally stronger and more resilient—not just in their sport, but in all areas of their lives.

Claire Kruszka

Erin Sanchez
Erin is an educator with over 20 years of experience serving students as an administrator, physical education teacher, and coach. Throughout her career, she has seen firsthand how mental health can impact a student’s confidence, relationships, academic success, and overall well-being. She passionate about supporting the whole child, creating environments where students feel seen and supported, and helping break the stigma surrounding mental health. Erin wants to be part of the change—advocating for greater awareness, stronger support systems, and a culture where every student knows it is okay to ask for help.

Bambi Piadlo
Bambi Piadlo is a Certified Athletic Trainer and graduate of Valparaiso University with more than 20 years of experience in sports medicine, orthopedic rehabilitation, athlete support, and healthcare leadership. With extensive experience in mentorship, athlete education, and interdisciplinary healthcare, as well as certification in Adult Mental Health First Aid, Bambi brings a unique understanding of both the physical and emotional demands of sport.

Elliot Somers
Elliot is a Division 1 swimmer at Canisius University in Buffalo, NY majoring in psychology and is pursuing a masters on sports psychology. Elliott is a presenter for D&G Wellness Consulting where he shares his personal experiences as a college athlete in addition to teaching skills to support high school athletes mental health and wellness. His long-term goal is to become a mental performance coach!
